Tundra comment: MSCI upgrade, market update and travel journal
  • In June 2016 MSCI will decide whether to upgrade Pakistan to Emerging Markets status or not. We believe the risks are tilted to the upside. We explain our reasoning in more detail on page 4
  • The last two years have been tough for Frontier Markets (and Emerging Markets). We try to explain why and give our view as to where we are in terms of market cycle.
  • We then add the first part of a Travel Journal from our latest trip to Pakistan. We start with Lahore where we mainly visited fast growing companies in the service sector.

We hope you will find the reading interesting and as always you are most welcome to revert if any questions.
