It was a privilege for Tundra Fonder AB to be represented at Orange Forum 2025 at the Indonesia Stock Exchange in Jakarta, where our Chief Sustainability Officer, Jennie C Ahrén, was invited as a speaker. Orange Forum 2025 brought together policymakers, investors, multilateral institutions, development actors, corporates, and civil society to accelerate gender-inclusive, climate-resilient, and community-driven financing across the Global South. The Forum highlighted the need for financial systems that genuinely reflect local realities - especially for women, youth, and underserved communities.
The Global South is setting the agenda
Speakers and investors emphasized that frontier and emerging economies are no longer waiting for frameworks to trickle down. They are proactively designing models that fit their own needs, risks, and opportunities - particularly in climate adaptation, healthcare access, and gender equality.
Inclusion as a driver of economic transformation
Discussions underscored that gender-inclusive solutions are not a “nice to have,” but central to market resilience and long-term value creation. Inclusion of women entrepreneurs, local SMEs, supply chains, and grassroots networks creates multiplier effects across entire economies.
Blending private capital with public ambition
The Forum showcased new models of mobilising capital -
combining development finance, philanthropy, and institutional investors - to shift more funding into high-impact areas in low- and lower-middle income countries.
We are proud to support efforts that align with Tundra’s long-term focus on sustainable, inclusive growth in frontier and emerging markets.
