The wait is finally over! We are launching Tundra Shikari Global.

Since its inception, Tundra’s investment philosophy has been built around seeking opportunities where few others are looking. Our roots lie in frontier markets, smaller and often overlooked equity markets where limited analyst coverage and low levels of international investor participation create attractive conditions for fundamental equity research. Over more than a decade, we have established a local presence, developed our research capabilities and refined an investment process focused on identifying strong businesses with long term potential before they attract the attention of a broader investor base.

Just over three years ago, we began applying the same investment philosophy to the larger emerging markets. Since 2023, we have steadily expanded our global emerging markets capabilities and today manage approximately SEK 9 billion within the strategy. This has given us a broader research platform and the ability to identify attractive investment opportunities in markets such as China, India, Taiwan, South Korea and Brazil.

Tundra Shikari Global brings these two worlds together in a single fund. Shikari means “hunter” in Urdu and Hindi, and the name captures the fund’s mission: to seek out the most attractive return opportunities across our entire investment universe, regardless of index weightings. The fund will typically hold just 10 to 15 companies, bringing together the investments where we see the greatest potential over the next twelve months.

In many ways, this makes Tundra Shikari Global the purest and most concentrated expression of what we have been doing since the beginning. Fundamental research, local knowledge and active stock selection remain at the core of our approach, but our opportunity set now spans the entire emerging and frontier markets universe.

The fund is now available through Avanza Bank, Nordnet Bank AB and Montrose, with more platforms to follow shortly. The fund offers monthly dealing, with 23 October as the subscription deadline for the NAV dated 30 October.
