We focus on frontier markets because we see great opportunities in this asset class for a long time to come. Around 50% of the world’s population live in these countries and economic growth is significantly higher than in the developed world. A young and hardworking population combined with high productivity, creates a very attractive investment climate.
The combined population of Nigeria, Vietnam, Pakistan and Bangladesh is greater than the whole of the European Union but the combined market capitalisation of these countries is less than half of the Stockholm Stock Exchange.

Sustainable investments mean that the environment, social issues and corporate governance is taking into consideration. For Tundra, the decision to implement ESG issues on the investment process is based on a commercial perspective. Tundra has made the assessment that corporate behaviour in sustainable issues will have a substantial impact on their long term competiveness and should hence be taken into consideration in the investment process.
