We believe that local presence, to be on the ground in the markets where one invests, does matter. Local presence provides an information advantage. A strong understanding of the local culture, language and economy improves the overall understanding of how frontier markets are developing and improves the chances of making the right investment decisions. Therefore, Tundra parts of the investment team reside in Karachi, Pakistan (since 2014) and in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam (since 2016).
